"A Night Out With the Arts" Friday, June 27th, 6-9pm: Columbia Music Festival Association's ArtSpace, 914 Pulaski St. which featured "Readings by Writers including Laurinda Brown, author of "The Highest Price for Passion" etc. and Terrance Dean author of "Hiding in Hip Hop". Performance of "For the Love of Harlem Musical" excerpt. Set during the 1920s Harlem Renaissance it showcases the lives of great SGL artists like Langston Hughes, Bessie Smith & Richard Bruce Nugent; written/ directed by Jermaine N. Lee of the Carolinas Black Pride Movement, $12 & cashbar
